Font
Barlow Condensed Bold (headlines and big numbers). Copyright 2017 The Barlow Project Authors (github.com/jpt/barlow). Licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1: full licence text. We serve one file of it from our own website (the Latin character set of the bold weight, as packaged by Fontsource, version 5.3.0). Your browser fetches it from us, not from a font service.
Chess pieces
The chess pieces on our board pictures were drawn by Colin M. L. Burnett (Wikimedia Commons user Cburnett) in 2006. The author offers them under the GNU Free Documentation License, the BSD licence or the GNU General Public License, at the user's choice (Wikimedia Commons). We use them under the 3-clause BSD licence below. The boards themselves (squares, colours, marks) are drawn by our own code.

Data
- Club games: Lichess open database, released under the CC0 1.0 public-domain dedication. Our own numbers made from it (the opening pages and their downloads) are released under CC0 too.
- Championship and title-match games: Lichess broadcasts, licence CC BY-SA 4.0. The sections built from them are marked "Game data: Lichess broadcasts" and are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0; each page says once what we changed.
- Opening names: lichess-org/chess-openings (CC0), matched by position.
Our own code, texts and page designs are not offered under an open licence. Lichess and FIDE are not involved in this site; see About.
